it was between the HM and a new Speed Triple. once i took the HM out for a test ride i was grinning ear to ear. i can't wait until i get past the break-in mileage. should have the 600 miles by next weekend. i have 200 miles since saturday. i just recently moved out to the far suburbs (almost country) so there are alot of open backroads to ride including a nice twisty section that i like riding.

got some goodies on the way too

yep, definately the right choice, the HM handles better than i thought it would. i was also looking at the 1098 as well, but i'm not a sportbike type. good thing too, insurance for the HM is ~$650/year (full coverage & $1k deductable). my friends 1098 lowest quote was $2200. the Daytona was ~$300/yr for liablity. A friend with the S3 is paying ~$1200/yr on it.
