New B Questions

Got a Hyper S yesterday and I have a few questions,

1). Do the reflectors come off easily or should I use a heat gun?

2). How do you adjust the chain? Its a single sided swing arm?

Reflectors should come off easily. WD40 or goof off to remove the glue if any remains.

Read the manual to learn how to adjust the chain. Basically, there are two bolts on the swingarm that must be loosened. Then you can use the special tool to turn the eccentric hub. The tool fits between the rear sprocket and the carrier. Chain slack is pretty important, so look it up.

Also use a torque wrench tightening the two pinch bolts, if you over tighten these you can crush the bearings, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

check out this one http://www.emotouk.com/hypermotard/crashprotection.htm down at the bottom of the page is a set of swingarm sliders that will allow for you to use your pitbull for chain maitenance. You won't be able to use it for tire changes though.

t-rex makes a good single sided stand that sells on ebay for a good price. I have one and like it very much.
