I'm happy with the DP Comfort Gel seat. Much better than the stock seat for me.

Swampy,

Not sure if it settled in. I only rode about 600 miles with it, and it feels the same as when I first got it. In my opinion, it did lower my seating. Not sure how much, but I did notice it. It put a smile on my face when I first sat on it due to being able to stand flat foot while stopped. I'm very happy with it so far.

I had the same results. I went from heels slighty up to completely flat footed. However, when I dialed in my suspension and raised my rear preload it went back to heels slightly up.

The seat is awesome, but I noticed if you park it in the sun it seems to take a long time to cool down. That is a problem when it is 112*. I guess that is why I don't ride much in the summer!

Out!

Gel seat Must be me

Ive still got my feet just touching the ball. no sole yet.

" Love the feel" ,more non slip and soft on my fat Ar$e

I'm due for first 1000k service soon will get them to drop it .

hope the local Ducati noobs can cope with that here.

Heat Now that I know

I live in Nth Queenslands tropics area top of Australia's north.

Real HOT 8 months a year
I have to live with the hot seat most of the year

normally leave a towel over it during the day @ work .

gel comfort seat is definitly lower. also noticed the gel gets hot when I left my bike in the drive for a coupla hours (florida). It's more comfortable than the stock seat but not enough to get excited about.
