Black Body on Red Frame

Anyone do this yet? 1098S style.

I was given a good deal on my HYM1100S but it had to be a red one and I thought about putting the black bodywork onto it.

(Ended up buying the black on instead- still a good deal).

If someone has done this, please post pics!

Hey CTarna,

Here is a pic of the one that I just picked up this last Saturday. I also had the rear subframe powder coated red to match. It looks great!

Looks great! Can you provide any details on the powdercoat for the subframe? I would sure like to do this to mine. Thanks!

Very nice!

How about details?

Subframe (dare I use that word around here!) powdercoated, painted, alloy?

Rear brake - painted/powdered

Turn signals from?

And, while I'm asking, red billet reservoir cover and valve stem covers--where are they from?

Inquiring minds want to know!

Thanks twentyscrews! Or is that twenty questions!

My .02...... I love the black & gray bodywork with the red frames but I just can't wrap my brain around painting the subframe. I love the vsiual line that the silver subframe makes towards the back of the bike.

What color gray is that?

That gray is FANTASTIC!! What color is it, do you have a paint code or something? I'm getting a Multistrada this weekend and it might end up being gray.
