Is 25mpg typical?

With the Termi slipons/ECU and no cat, would you expect to get 25mpg? That's all I'm getting after 2 tanks of gas. I remember a thread where most were getting 35 to 45 with one guy claiming 53. I rarely go over 6k rpm and don't idle too much....with the motor loosen up more after 1800 miles? Doesn't seem to be running too rich as the pipes are not all sooted up and it runs well.
It shoots the hell out of my excuse to the wife about getting it for the mileage!

I've got the Termi slipons/ECU, not cat using Termi full race, one tooth larger rear sprocket, DP Airbox and BMC filter with a cruising rpm of 4500 and I get 41-43 MPG. After the pipes, it ran rough, so the shop re-tuned, reset TPS and it sounds much smoother now. I got 36 before the tune up and 41-43 now.

G,

Have you had your TPS reset and the fuel ratio set properly since having the Termi's installed? Even if you are floggin this thing you should get 30mpg-35mpg so I am guessing there is something not quite right. It may seem to be running fine but maybe it just needs a subtle adjustment.

30-35 with Termi slip ons w/ecu, db killers pulled, & LV cat eliminator. ECU was set when slip ons were installed, checked after LV CE was installed and no adjustment was needed.

Thanks....I have a 520 kit with a 39 tooth sprocket on the rear, can't recall what was stock...
I'll give it another tank and see. I was told that Spectrum Motorsports set it up. Not sure if I should go back or just take it to ProItalia. I live much closer to PI.
Maybe it's our Summer GAS!

I went 2 teeth smaller on the rear sprocket and get 43 to 45 mpg when not running it hard.

I called the service dept at Pro Italia and they agree...should be a bit higher, so I made an appointment to get it on the gas analyzer.

Ok, so I found out that the earlier Hypermotards shipped with an incorrect correction number and the trip meter reading would be incorrect. Probably kilometers vs miles.... Confirmed by Pro Italia... Now it's a warranty issue and ProItalia will upload the correct number via a software update.
