July 5th Ride to Booneville (NorCal)

Cross-posted on the BayAreaRidersForum:

BARF

Ride starts at 8:30 AM, Saturday, July 5th at the Starbucks in Cordelia. Pretty much an all day ride. Current plan is to head up past Berryessa, through Lower Lake, then over Hopland Grade to have lunch at the Bluebird Cafe'. Up to Ukiah, down 253 towards Booneville, then zig-zagging southward through the coast range (Mountian View Road, maybe Tin Barn, maybe Annapolis, Coleman Valley, etc.).

Subject to change with little notice due to fires, but looks do-able today. Post up if you plan to attend so that I can notify you of any changes.

Cheers,

Kurt

I checked the OES website this afternoon, and the route looks to be free of any road closures due to fire. Looks like we'll have a pretty good turn out too, even though it's a holiday weekend, and an all day ride. It's looking like close to 400 miles. I've gotten RSVP's from folks riding everything from an old XS650 to a turbo Busa (no, I'm not kidding). The goat trails are gonna be interesting!

We'll need to pull out of Cordelia as close to 8:30 AM as possible to get it all done before dark.

Cheers,

Kurt
