Need advice on riding position

I own a monster s2r1000 and I just recently purchased a Hyper, thinking that i would sell the monster. I ended up keeping the monster because they are totally different riding experience. I come from a dirtbike racing background so the hyper is pretty much the best of both worlds. When I ride on the monster up in the mountains I feel like I have a pretty good riding style and hang off the seat pretty well. My question is how do you guys ride your hypers? I try hanging off like on my monster but it just doesnt turn as well because I am sitting up so high. Last time I rode I tried just pushing the bike down in corners and almost sitting on the high side/corner of the seat with the bike underneath me (more of a motocross style without my let out) and it felt really good, the bike really seemed to stick in the corners as well. I just wanted to make sure that I am not doing something stupid here and asking for trouble. Is this dangerous, will the bike slip out riding like this? Any thoughts will be appreciated.

I'm a road toad from way back so I just ride normal like. Let others do the theatrics and dance all over the place. I like to be smooth, let it flow and use as little effort as possible.

My ex accused me of having HDD, hyperactivity deficit disorder = a lazy bastard!

If someone wants to have a play and I have to get real serious, I'll do the toe on peg, knee out, bum half off seat thing.

It's a Hyper which also means it's hyper sensitive to suspension tuning, when you get it dialled in professionally, the REWARDS are humungious.
