Difference between Diablo Corsa 3 and 2?

Can someone please give me a brief lowdown on the major differences between the Corsa 2's and 3's?

Thanks in advance...

Pirelli makes the Corsa and the Corsa III. The Corsa III have the Corsa compound down the center and Supercorsa compounds on the sides.

Corsa #'s are Pirelli's answer to Michelin's PP 2CTs. The rear has three zones (left, center, right), but only two compounds. The front has only one.

Lowest mileage tire I've ever used (about 2/3 the mileage I got from a normal Corsa).

I'll try the BT016s next, but nothing I've tried yet is better than the PP 2CTs.

Thanks for the clarifications folks. Coming from the GT's retro Michelins, these tires are a whole new ball game.

Yesterday, I was calling around, trying to find a replacement rear Corsa III. One of the places I called said they were out of Corsa III's but had a Corsa II. Turns out today, it was actually a Corsa, so whoever I talked to on Friday was a bit off. And I wasted more than a few minutes last night trying to research Pirelli Corsa II's. I now have a new Corsa III on the Hyper.

I'm guessing the front will be worn enough when the new rear tire wears out to force the purchase of a set and that's when I may move to a higher mileage tire like the PP 2CT's or Roads. I'm also wondering how Scorpion Syncs would be, I know a few folks who run these (not on Hypers though) and love them.

08Hyper runs the Syncs and likes them. He even did a track day with them and was still plenty fast. I just installed Diablo Supersports (street compound) that I got on sale at Cycle Gear for $200 shipped to my house. Only have a couple hundred miles and a track day on them and they are holding up well so far. And they worked pretty well on the track too. Never felt very slippery and I wore down my peg sliders, rear brake lever, and scraped up the bottom of the header pipe from it rubbing on the ground. So I'd say they stuck prety well. And...it was 95+ degrees at the track.

Hope this helps.
