First test and questions? Track day

I had a car accident back in september so this is my first time back at the track in 10 months and it was in a HyperS

This past sunday i got to ride my friends HyperS at the track. I just want to say that it has a really good torque and the handling was awesome, the bike also has the DP steering damper that i found a little stiff at times but in general it wasn't bad.

The only problem that i found was that i HAD to reposition my left leg all the time when upshipting (NO GP SHIFTING). I found the shifter a little too short, is that normal? Do you have the same problems? or maybe i am just on crack lol.

One thing is that i was wearing new Puma boots and they were a bit stiff so i am wondering if it was the boots or if fact the shifter is a bit short. I also have a pair of sidis but unfortunatly i didn't try them, i chose the puma cause they offered me nice support since i broke my right ankle and it is a bit stiff still at times.

Also the bike misshift a few shifts and my buddy said it does that.

It was great being back at the track.

Any comments?

Check out this thread Woodcraft rearsets installed for me, my glitchy shifting dissapeared and you can set up gp shift pattern.

keep it stock?

If you keeping the footpeg/shifter stock, I suggest you adjust the lever as

high as it will go, this will make the lever a little longer and improve ground

clearance, I actually had to make a custom linkage to raise my lever higher

than the original linkage would let me, for me, MUCH better! Aloha Alex
