Toe, no knee
Finally got the Hyper out for a short track day... My boots and toe sliders dragged long before my knees... time for rearsets! Other than that, the bike handled great... but man do you have to short shift...
Good times.

Remember guys, the seating position is much more upright than a sports bike. The distance between our high seat and the pegs is greater and the resultant position of our legs means our knees are not only higher, but it is also harder to turn the leg outwards.
Try sitting on the edge of a kitchen chair with your knees at 90 degrees, thigh horizontal, shin vertical.
Now put your left foot back under the chair. Check the difference in height your knees are from the floor, and then try hangin your knees outwards.
You will find the left knee hangin further out into the breeze, as it were.
If you've run out of ground clearance, you've just about run out of tyre as well. Playin 'kneecapus gonewestus' is cool, but doesn't mean you're any faster.

I find my opposite side foot coming off of its peg during real tight high lean corners. I guess I am trying to get as far off the opposite side as possible.

I found an exagerated position was the only way not to realy grind. Trying to follow faster riders without hanging way off was like going from grind to grind when you flipped the bike. I'm thinking either a dedicated track bike or adjustable rear sets for the hyper. These pics are from Louden, NH june 3.
Hard to see me in the last one.

Dragging the knees is a matter of flexibility, I recommend Yoga lessons instead of rear-sets; healthier, Cheaper, and will help in case you went too far
