Which kind of Boots & Gloves you guys have?
Hey,
I am planning to get boots & gloves for my hyper though, just wondering what's good. Dainese looks good. And also Sidi.
Ciao

You cannot go wrong with either of the brands. I have had both. Their reputation is well deserved.
I have had these Gaerne's for the last couple of years and would buy them again. I bought them in black but the detail shows better in the white's photo.
I love the rear entry and they are very resistant to hyper extention. They virtually dissapear once on the bike and (for this type of boot) aren't horribly uncomfortable walking about. I would definitely buy again.

I've always used Sidi Boots and Alpinestars Gloves, can recommend both.

I had a set of sidis. Great comfort and durability. I crashed in them three times before they finally had enough. They sell replacement parts too. I now use alpinestars SMX-r boots. They've been crashed in once so far and did real well. They are tough to get into and aren't nearly as comfortable as the sidis. They cost almost half the price though.
I use a alpinestars one piece suit that has been crashed in once. It did pretty well. No seams broken and no leather worn through.
I have teknic gloves and also spidis. I wrecked once in the teknics and you can't even tell.

Sidi boots, I have had them for 3 years now and love them. They are very comfortable as I will walk a couple of hour in them in the city and my feet are fine. I forget what model they are but they have a very simple design as I am not into the flashy stuff, so they go well with jeans if I am just doing around town things. I have crashed in them and ankles and feet were completely fine.
Gloves, last year my girl bought me a pair of the Lee Parks, again very simple black gloves. I also crashed in those gloves and they held up perfectly, no rips, tears, or busted seams. Apparently the police or the paramedic's like them as well as I never got them back, so someone took them.

I have 2 pairs of Alpinestars Gloves. One leather for colder weather, and one mesh(y) for hot days. No boots as I only ride street. No track for now at least...
