Reinforced DP Luggage Rack - Ducati.ms

I sent the rear luggage rack for reinforcement yesterday. It had to be done as the original construction allows only about 11lbs max weight.

Just looking at it, originally, it's flimsy and deisgned light and "looks" gave way to praticality.

Since I have to use a GIVI box to lug my lenses and camera equipment, I had to get it done.

2 "L" plates were welded on. Sorry about the pic quality, used a mobile phone.

Also, you wonder why after paying so much for it, they can't provide 2 plastic caps for the 2 rear bolts to avoid them collecting water and rust away. Got the caps at GIVI when they installed my box

Thanks again. I found the E450 for around $200 US! What a bargain! I'm still looking at different sizes, but will definitely buy a Givi when the time comes. Do they come with the bottom plate?

Yup. just unlock the box with the key and the base stays on top of the DP luggage rack
