fork diameter

all this time I thought I had 50mm forks. I was taking some measurements last night for some fork guards and I slapped a metric ruler on there and got 45 or 46mm. do the S models have bigger forks? I know that I had read several times online that the hyper had 50mm forks. no big deal, just curious.
