Well had my Hyper standard for a little under a week and I've been able to put right around 300 miles on it thus far.Now I'm no road racer or anything of that sort but I've ridden bikes for 30+ years though mostly of the dirt variety but here's my take of what I've noticed as I'm getting some saddle time on it.
Shifting is notchy. Not in a bad way mind ya as it's a very positive shifter and I have no issues with finding neutral while stopped or anything. It reminds me of the early 70s Yamaha YZs for those with a dirt background.
Rear brake is sorta soft but in reality it's a non-issue for me as I do most of my braking with the front and boy I like it.The front has a nice feel and will stop you on a dime. For those talented or daring folks I'm thinking stoppies would be a cinch.
Clutch pull isn't bad for a dry clutch.Overall I'm ok will the pull and workings of it.I heard from some folks how stiff the Duc dry clutches can be but not an issue in my book.
Gearing is tall no doubt but in reality from the way the engine likes to run 4000rpm and up this bike is never gonna be a lug it around at a slow pace kind of ride anyways so I'm not sure I'll bother with regearing it.
This motor rocks. It pulls and pulls and I can't wait till I can open it up as it's got a great pull in the 4-6000rpm range in any gear.Again for the talented and daring I imagine wheelies are a piece of cake.Myself I'll leave the wheelies to my offroad rides. You can't help but get the front end light power kind where the front end is barely off the ground variety though.
Overall the Hyper begs to be ridden hard and wants to get up and go and definitely is not geared toward keeping ones driving record clean but hell it's fun!

It handles great and is a ton of fun to ride and if you've got any motorcycling experience it makes you feel very safe and comfortable as it's very easy to maneuveur and stops on a dime.
I'm very happy thus far with my decision to add the Hyper as my second just "pure fun" ride.
