Bridgestone BT-016's

Has anyone tried these out yet on a hyper?
How well do they wear?

I am looking for a replacement for the fast wearing BT-014 that came on my hyper.

Also, does anyone know if it is a comparable profile to the BT-014 and could be run with BT-014 front without any handling screwiness.

I've replaced my rear tyre with the BT016 last week, the front is still the 014. The day after I went on a track day. I thought the 016 were much better for at least the track day. They give more confidence then the 014 (with which I had track days as well, but they seemed to step out on fast acceleration out of corners). With the BT016 I had no problems whatsoever not even with full throttle accelaration out of corners. I've ridden the complete tyre on this trackday, no shame edges left! The 016 seem to stick to the tarmac as superglue.
The combination with front 014 and rear 016 is great. No problems there. Now I only hope I can get some more mileage out of my new 016. I only got 5000 km (3100 miles) on the 014. The worst I've ever had!

thanks a lot. I was leary about having different profile tires. How did you get 3100 out of a rear? 1300 for me. I don't do wheelies but do accelerate hard. Not much touring either. only to and from twisties.
