New HM rider with question
Hello everyone. I just had a black S dropped off last night but only rode it a few miles. It felt absolutely amazing!
Two questions
Is the limiter light supposed to blink? Is that part of the immobilizer? I didn't see anything in a quick read of the manual.
And the real problem is the turn signals blink left front and right on the rears. Is there a easy to get to a connector that I can reverse?
Thanks for any help!

Yes the red blinking light is the security immobilizer. It will flash for something like 12 hours after you turn off the ignition. As for your blinkers, something is wrong there. Did you buy the bike used and if so did the previous owner tinker with the blinkers for some reason. If so, sounds like a crossed wire. The bike does not need any kind of connector to reverse anything if it is connected properly in the first place. If it is new I would take it in to the shop and have them fix it if you are not comfortable trying to do it yourself.
Last welcome to HM madness.......

Thanks for the quick answer.
The bike is brand new with 10 miles on it. The dealer is 50 miles away and I'm not looking forward to the ride with screwed up turn signals. I though it might be a easy fix. I'll give them a call when they open .

Twilight1,
Welcome and enjoy! Just hit the road early to avoid traffic and use hand signals as an alternate to using your blinkers & have the dealer looks them.
I grew-up just south of Fenton - Ortonville, aka WhoVille.

I really don't want to ride through nasty Detroit traffic because of the dealer's mistake.
I wonder if I could just reverse the connectors at the front signals?

My guess is the front blinker is correct with respect to the switch, but the rear is reversed. If that's the case, I'll go even further out on a limb and assume you bought the Termi race 2 in 1 and had the dealer install it prior to delivery, in which case they screwed up the wiring which must be disconnected to perform the install. If I'm correct, all it takes is to trace the wiring from each rear light to the upstream connector and a swap l to r, r to l. If I'm not, then it's a factory screw up, because set up does not require turn signal wiring hook-up/installation. Either way, the dealer screwed up because they owe you a complete functional check-out prior to delivery.

No Termis. Yet. Would I remove the seat to locate the connectors?
Thanks again for the help.

Well, I switch the connections under the seat and have both front and back in sync but the switch is still backwards. And it's raining.

Welcome to Ducati ownership. It sounds like a malfunction at the switch but it's tough to say without digging deeper. I understand Ducati has a really good network to pick up and return bikes for maintenance (warranty) issues. See if the dealer will pick up the bike and return it when fixed.

Yeap it can be done, just follow the wires fron the front blinkers and switch connectors, this is if the rear ones are working correctly (you switch left and the left rear blinks and the same with the right)
