Another rearsets thread
Sorry to beat a dead horse, but I need some help.I am the proud owner of a pair of size 14 feet that have a hard time maneuvering the factory rearsets with boots on.I've searched previous posts on this subject and have decided the Woodcraft sets look a little extreme for the upright riding position that drew me to the Hyper in the first place. So now I'm having a hard time deciding between the Satos and the Rizomas.I'm not looking to raise the pegs so much as stretch things out.I like the eccenters on the levers of the Rizomas, and the fact that the Satos let me use the stock passener pegs if I need to. I also like the color options on the Satos.I guess my question is which will give me the most room for my feet, and for you bay area boys, is there anywhere I can compare the two?

I'm not sure I understand the problem. Have you adjusted your shift lever and brake pedal, and removed the rubber piece on the stock pegs, and they still don't work for you?

I have a a set of Woodcrafts in the garage and intended to mount them this morining. I decided I would rather ride.
I made the purchase decision based upon past experience with their products and observing my feet while riding the Hyper.
If you have the habit of riding with your toes on the pegs, the CFM's will place your arch where it is now.

Yeah, shift lever maxed-out-up. If my toe is anywhere close to being under the shifter in even a pretty tame corner, my toe will drag.Brake is not a problem. With boots, it's pretty much impossible to even fit my toe under the shifter.Even if I could bend my ankle down that much, my toe would drag. By the way Scott, I think you answered my post on boots for big feet. No problems for you?

Hyperdookie, I have the black Satos on my HM that you can take a look at. Just PM me and we'll work out a meeting place. I may attend the monthly Ducati night at Santana row tomorrow (Monday) night so perhaps we could meet there.

I have compared the Rizoma's to the Sato's on another bike. As my feet are size 12 I was concerned about the same. I went with the Rizoma's they have a great deal of adjust ability on the shift and brake lever which is great. I have them in the lowest and forward position and they are quite comfortable and retain the stock riding position. I am quite pleased with mine. If you do opt for the Rizoma's with to a softer return spring for the brake lever.

I were 12's too. I have no problem with getting my stomper under neath the shifter (although my bike is at the dealer and stuck in 3rd). Actually, I have further adjustment remaining.
I don't mean to doubt your mechanical skill, but are you sure they are out of adjustment before you spend $5-600 on rearsets.
