So long for now
Well folks, I'm no longer a Hyper owner. I met with Andy, a member on the Sport Classic forum, this morning and we traded bikes. A gray GT1000 followed me home and has taken up residence in my garage, and the Hyper has gone off with its new owner. I got some cash back too, of course. It will come in handy for the mods to come.
Guess I won't be posting much over here any more, but I'll stop by from time to time and see what you're all up to.
cheers,
Debby

very cool indeed ... the gt1000 is a much underrated bike.
i rode one for about 600km in a few days, riding around bologna and imola ... crazy fun and easy to ride in the city. and like the hypermotard, good on the autostrada up to about 80 mph, but then not so much fun at speeds above that (unless you have the way retro plex windscreen).

Debby,
Goodluck with the new ride. Hope you don't miss the Hyper too much.

See ya later 'ducky', will miss ya posts.
Qurious, why the trade?
Had my Hyper for 10,000klm, don't even want to ride another bike, even when offered. I suspect those offers are only so some other deviot thinks he might get a ride on the Hyper.
Good luck in GT land!
Ps Changed my e-mail to duchyp for obvious reasons, except it reads more like dutchy pee
