Leo Vince Cat Eliminator
Hee Haa!!! I just recieved my Leo Vince Cat Eliminator. Anyone here have any advice on what to do or not to do for installation? Should I use some kind of high heat sealant?
TIA.
ps
Forgot to mention that I have a Termi slip-on. Do I need to re-adjust anything? ECU?

Your throttle position sensor ( tps) needs to be reset and you should have your fuel trim adjusted. Take it to Nichols to have this done.

Are you seriuos? Leo Vince told me that it's pretty much bolt-on and I shouldn't have to adjust anything. I am going to ask Desmoto Sport. Nichols is way too far from me.

Yes, if you are swapping the ECU you have to have the TPS reset. You can run the stock ECU and no reset is required but you run the risk of running a bit lean, especially if you are running non-stock mufflers and open airbox lid.

When you unbolt everything it will help alot if you loosen the front header pipe at the head. And trace the lambda sensor back and unplug it before you unbolt the cat. Other than that it was pretty straight forward.

What is the power increase when you eliminate the cat and add a aftermarket slip on?
I am leaning toward the Zard slipons but i cant decide which one i want

The cat eliminator will add 1hp give or take, but more importantly
will make the bike run cooler, have better throttle response, and have a throatier exhaust note. The
full exhaust will add 3 to 4 HP, but when you do the airbox mod, BMC filter, or DNA, and a DP performance ECU you can expect an 8 to 10 HP total increase in power. Aloha Alex
