What do you guys do with your helmet??
I have never had a bike without a helmet holder. Not only that, it doesn't even have the stalk mirrors to hold the helmet either. The seat is waaay too narrow for me to trust resting a helmet without fear of it falling off. So I end up carrying the helmet around everytime I stop on the Hyper. Any of you guys come up with a good solution, or do you all take your helmet with you?

I asked the same question a couple months back. If you are looking for a lock to lock your helmet there is one that bolts to the sub-frame or other options I just forget the website I was given. Do a search and you should find the thread.
I had the racing seat, so my helmet always balanced perfectly on the passenger part, for quick stops or when hanging out shooting the shit.

I use a retractable combination helmet lock like this one:
http://www.bikebone.com/page/BBSC/PROD/Cable/T33RC
there are a bunch of 'em out there, some better than others. not as solid as a helmet lock, but it will keep someone from just snatching it off yer handlebars...and it fits in a pocket.
I also like it because I can run it through my jacket too.

That's actually not a bad idea at all when you don't have a lock with you!
Thanks for guys for the inputs. I was hoping that one of you were going to tell me that I am an idiot and that it does have a helmet lock....

Two potential issues with this approach:
1) If someone bumps your handle bar, your helmet could hit your tank panel; and
2) Your helmet is a convenient ash tray or trash can for passer-bys.

I fold the mirror back flush with the hand guard, turn the helmet sideways and slide the entire hand guard into the chin opening of the helmet. It fits perfectly, holds the helmet in place and does not stick out far enough to be bumped into. I suggest you open your face screen so that you don't scratch it by pushing the helmet too far up the hand guard.
Fixed, next question?

I hang mine off the left rear foot peg. Not locked, but that's where she hangs while I'm off the bike while out for a ride.

MotionPro makes nice bolt on helmet lock that is pretty clean. It would bolt to the subrame and comes in chrome or black. I bought a similar small retractable cable lock.
Out!

Is there any kind of trunk space or anything on a HM? Looking at a Black S. Where do you keep insurance papers and things like that?
