Weighed the hyper at track
The Hyper full of gas and ready to run was 373 on the scales at the track. I have the termi slipons and zard headers with no cat. I also had the handguards and plate/turnsignal bracket removed. It's a fairly stock, standard model hyper.

The plastic handguards must weigh 10lbs each.

I don't know about the handguards, but with your other statement, I concur!

That's very interesting because despite the fact that my CBR600RR & the Hyper having very similar advertised weights, the Hyper feels significantly lighter when physically pushing it around or putting it up on my pitbull stand.

I'd love to see one weighed too. My R6 track bike feels much heavier riding and pushing around than my hyper too. But the R6 is supposed to be lighter. I know there are other variables to consider, but it caused me to wonder.

It funny how you mention how light it feels when you move the bike around compared to your 600's. I don't have another street bike, but I marvel at how light the bike feels every time I push it around the garage. Maybe I will ride over to the landfill scale someday and see what is says since it accurately shows my weight when I get out of the truck to pay.
