Hitch Carrier

Has anyone used anything similar to the versihaul hitch mounted carrier. http://www.versahaul.com/vhsportro.php
I have a Toyota FJ and would like the option of being able to take the truck and bike with me wen we go camping in the mountains. Opinions of the carrier or other hitch mounted options.

Thanks
Stephen

I have the Sport carrier

http://www.mototote.com/default.aspx?ProductID=44

and have been very happy with it. I must admit that I get the drive off heebie geebies but have never had a problem. I get worried even with trailers.

I have gone as far as Laguna Seca from San Diego. Its nice being able to drive with traffic rather than the rt 2 lanes and worrying about trailer speed limits.

I don't have a problem loading/unloading by myself either.

I had one for a dirtbike and had it fall off one time while driving. Make sure it's very sturdy and the bike is tied down footpeg under to footpeg also

I have the exact one you have pictured. I use it on my motorhome with 2 full size dirt bikes. It works great, I've had no problems.
