Aftermarket levers

I've brought a set of Acerbis supermotard hand guards. They look great, but they foul with the levers. I am looking at pazzo, crg and asv aftermarket shorty levers and just want to know if the 1098 aftermarket levers will fit the hyper or not?

For all those that have got them are they a specific hyper lever or are they common with other ducati models?

Another topic where there are a million other threads, but...

There is a Hyper-specific brake lever that's not the same as the 1098. You can make a 1098 lever work if you modify it, but you may as well get the real deal. Clutch levers are the same.

I can only speak for the Pazzo levers, which work perfectly on the Hyper...

I don`t recommend the CRG levers. I bought the shorties, modified the brake side but couldn`t get the clutch to work to my liking. The geometry is just different on the clutch side no matter how you adjust them. The plunger angle is different from stock. The freeplay doesn`t exist. I know guys are running them but not for me. If you want to try I`ve got the black ones with red adjusters for cheap...

I had CRG's on my 999S, they had to be modified to work, when I emailed CRG direct and the distributor in my country (UK), they didn't even bother to respond, avoid due to bad attitude from supply chain and bad designed product.
My neighbour has Pazzo and they seem much better.

Pazzo makes a specific HPM brake lever perch for this fitment. I wouldn't suggest modding the 1098 brake lever as there can be issues with binding of the perch with the m/c, leading to unexpected braking issues.

Pazzo Racing shortie levers work well with all handguards that I've seen thus far.

PM me for pricing. I have numerous sets of Pazzo in stock for the HPM.

CRG doesn't make a Hyper lever, so it's hard to fault them if you bought levers they designed for another bike, modified them, and weren't happy with the results. I like their levers better than the Pazzo's (personal preference), and called CRG about Hyper levers, and they told me flat out that they were working on a Hyper lever but wouldn't recommend modifying an existing CRG product.

I modified the brake side and it worked great. The clutch side was the problem. Not only for me but 2 Ducati techs as well. If you don`t mind if the clutch engauges at the very end of lever travel, the CRG`s are fine. The clutch master cylinder is the same as the 1098 so I doubt it will change...
