Dead battery

Went to go for a ride last night and my bike did not start!!! Check the voltage on the battery and it was down to 10.2 volts. The starter would not even turn over. The bike had been sitting for now more then three days max. Hooked it up to my charger and all is good. Just wondering if anyone else is experiancing sub-optimal battery charge life. Makes me wonder if something is wrong with my alternator. Any ideas?

After a recharge an it starts, what is the voltage while it is running?

The strange thing is when I first got my bike the battery seemed insufficient. It seemed the battery would drain in a blink of an eye. I bought a battery tender and left it plugged in. Now the battery seems stronger. I don't know if it was because of the conditioning cycles of the battery tender, or maybe it just warmed up, it was winter.
Double check you battery cables as it seems they are prone to loosening on most hypers. I even put lock washers on mine. I have not used my battery tender in months and it started up after sitting for 4 weeks while I was away from home.

The original battery on mine died over the winter after the bike sat for three or four weeks without being ridden. It was not on a battery tender at the time.

The battery would not take a charge, so I had it replaced under warranty. I've been keeping the new battery plugged into a battery tender whenever the bike isn't being ridden.
