xerox hypermotard
ok, I've been thinking about adding a second duc, and I know it is going to be the hyper as it would complement the superbike as far as wanting something very different.
I have been planning the customization, and I want to make it into a xerox hypermotard. I know this will include getting the wheels painted gold, but nobody makes a xerox graphics kit for the hyper do they?
If anyone has pics, or is good at photoshop please post. I'm thinking i may have to design a kit myself and then bring it to a good painter as a stencil?...I can see this getting expensive fast, but I'm totally set on it.
Any help, ideas?
Thanks.

Did you ever get the scheme figured out? I'm not nerdy enough to do photoshop.

I had that thought also but just can't find many bodypanels for it.

Very nice! I've worked in IT for 10+ years, but Photoshop has aways kicked my ass.

grazie ... here is another quick photoshop chop ... this time for ruben and max fans.
i swear i saw a photo of a hypertard at philip island that had this livery sticker set on it. i cannot find the photo, and i have all but given up on finding the sticker group that markets it ... perhaps it was a one-off sticker set made on a gerber cutter.
anyway, i like the look of the sterigarda livery better than the xerox livery ... just mho.
a presto,
johnc

wow, i'd given up on getting a response to this post... how did you guys find it buried under weeks of other posts.
I was thinking to make a suede seat, with the top front part in white to continue the white stripe where it says xerox... this would be to compensate for the lack of panels on the hyper...
after I posted about the db8 veleno concept though hypermotard db8 veleno
... it kind of set me on a whole new fetish:

It might be cool to make one look like an Alice Desmocideici. Not sure if there's enough plastic though to look right.

hyper is going for the full xerox monty
The Hyper is officially at a customization shop getting xeroxed.
I'm going full monty on this one...
-using multiple pictures of 1098R's with the gold wheels as the a reference
-seat getting torn apart, gel packs inserted (for comfort) and vinyl/leather inserts in red/white/stripe on front and back to add to the "fairing" area for graphics.
-the upper DP fairing on my bike is getting fully painted, will have the white number plate, with the alfa romeo/puma/termi stickers down the sides just like on the 1098r xerox bikes.
the shop is sending me a photoshop with sketches and ideas later this week.. we laid some masking tape down yesterday to figure out the lines... it's difficult to have continuity between the front and the back, so getting this part right will be critical. The bike is going to get painted, with some of the more complex logos (like alfa romeo) being stickers with multiple layers of clearcoat over them. I estimate we'll have it done in about 3 weeks... very excited about the project, will keep the site updated with progress.
I'm attaching some of the pics we're using as reference, including the rear seat modification from the Pramac hypermotard. Have no reference for modifying the front of the seat, but we're trying to continue the lines of the tank so as to provide more surface area next to the "xerox" script.
questions/suggestions: I have to pic and choose which logos I include, the can't all fit. For now I'm leaning towards:
-xerox on tank sides, moving into the front of the seat
-alfa romeo (round logo down sides of front of nose and possible rear side fairings)
-puma (black puma silhouette on tail)
-breil (black on bottom of sides of tank+sides of nose)
-advance(blue on bottom of sides of tank+sides of nose)
If anyone has suggestions/thoughts... send them on. There is at least a week of planning before we actually take parts off bike. Still haven't decided how to do the fork guards, or whether to leave them carbon finish
