What is a used full system termi worth?
Hey all, wanted to know what you think a used full termi system should fetch on the open market. It is perfect condition essentially with only the header pipe getting the normal discoloration from use. No scratchs or scuffs on the pipe itself. The reason I ask is because I am thinking I will put the Hyper back to its stock trim and sell it like that. Apparently the pipe does not matter to people and I think I could put it for sale at a better price point.
That said once it is completely back to stock trim I will be posting it for sale for $9900.00 if anyone is interested. I will then sell the Termi seperately along with the Pazzos and comfort seat.
Thanks for any input as to value of the Termi.

If you are looking to maximize your money potential you can sell your ECU separate from the exhaust and the levers. Of course there is going to be some cost involved with removing the Termi ECU and replacing the stock ECU and having the TPS reset. I would think you should be able to get at least $800-1000 for the exhaust and $200-$300 for the ECU. But then again you may not be able to sell the exhaust without the ECU. Have you done an Ebay Search?

I think that the full systems is as valuable as the ECU, since one is attached to the other.. It does not make sense to buy a full system without ECU, since the PCIII still not in the 'real' market... my two cents... asking price someting aroud 1K

I was thinking that I could sell the entire setup (Exhaust, ECU & Airbox cover) for around $1300-$1400 but wanted opinions to see if I was in the ballpark . I don't think I would sell the ECU without the exhaust unless someone wanted just the exhaust without ECU first. I wouldn't have any issues selling it that way so long as I got rid of the exhaust first. But my fear would be if I sold the ECU first I would end up with the exhaust and someone wanting the entire package so it might take the right person wanting just the exhaust. I wish someone would just take the entire package so I don't have to put the 5 hours of labor into removal and re-installation but I'll do what I have to I guess. Maybe I should see if there is any interest in the 1098. Damn it wish I could keep both....

I was just wondering what my full Termi ecu is worth? The tech at the dealership has been asking about it for his hyper. He doesn`t want to pay too much for it since he can get the cams/ecu at cost. I`d pay $13-1400 all day if I was in the market for the exhaust. Good luck on the sale. It`s a shame you can`t keep both bikes

Well its a completely different ride then the Hype and it is stupid fast really but I'm kind of diggin being on a sportbike again since I've had a layoff of about 7 years. The power is smooth and strong with gobs of torque and the brakes are incredible. Of course it has its down falls too, ergos etc. but with a little tweaking it shouldn't be too bad. They are really very different rides and as I said wish I could keep them both. If for some reason I couldn't get rid of the Hype I would sell the 1098 if I had to and don't think I would really regret going that way either. Just couldn't pass up the deal I got on the 1098and now that I'm riding it a little I want to keep it for a while I think.
