are you still enjoying your hyper
i was suppose to purchase my hyper in March, but since i bought a new house i have been doing things to it and working on it. Well i am back in the market for a bike but with all the hypers i see popping up for sale i was wondering if people are still enjoying them. Even though the wife wants me to get a HOG i am staying with a Duc but it will be my only bike for now. I was looking at the hyper and the 848.
Just wondering your pros and cons on the bike and if its still all the hype it was at the beginning
thanks

If you decide on a hyper, let me know if want to work with a dealer together selling two bikes at once could work out to be a deal for everyone ( the dealer, plus you and I ) Just a thought.
I had mine 3 months, got stolen and I am out to finding another. So, to me they are still the . . . . . .

Let's see, HOG, Hyper, 848. Wow that's all over the place. I've had them all BMW GS's, RC51, R1, 996, and the Hyper S, and let me tell you, you will never have another bike that makes you want to just go out and ride. I have nothing nice to say about Harleys or the majority of their riders so I'll keep my trap shut. The 848 is nice, it just depends on if you want something flickable or not. The Hyper is great in the curves, and in traffic, and I give guys on crotch rockets grief in the twisties with the Hyper. Its down side is the fuel issue but that's it. Good luck and I'm sure you'll enjoy either the Hyper or the 848 if you get it.

Ten days into the relationship, and this bike is rocking my world! Here's a photo taken at day nine to show you what I mean:
 .
As the previous poster said, your choices are all over the map, what do you want from a bike? For the kind of riding I do - narrow, crappy, goat trail roads - the Hyper hits the nail right on the head. My wife and I have ridden it two-up, and it's fine for that so long as you both like riding.
Seriously, all brand BS aside, I've been riding for more than 40 years, and had an M1 for more than 30, and I'm not sure I've ever hit if off so well with a new bike as I have with the Hyper. It's not the right bike for everyone, but it sure works for me.
Good luck with your choice.
Kurt

If you also have a boat and need an anchor, I would get the Harley. And, no, you can't buy my HM.

Actually he said his wife wants the HOG but he does not. His choice is either the Hyper or 848.

I just can't get enough time off to ride. The Hyper is still my first choice for a fun ride.

Yes we know he said his wife wants the Harley, but it wouldn't be the first time some ass hat did what his wife wanted him to do when it comes to motorcycles, for example, selling them, wrong color, wrong brand, on and on and on.....

Nah i am not looking for another harley, i rode my FIL's today and i am done lugging 800 pds around and not being able to lean it over and have some fun.
Basically i am looking to go out and do some 1hr to 4 hr rides and enjoy the time out there. I am not really concerned with top speed because i dont see myself going crazy speeds on the road, i do have a family and have to get to work on monday.
thanks for all that replied!
