Monster swingarm on a Hyper
I was looking at the Roland Sands hyper and it looks like the "custom" swingarm is off of a Monster.
Anyone know if a Monster swingarm will fit to a hyp? It would certainly allow for alot more rear tire width.

Same bike, looks like two different swingarms to me. The first one looks like a stock Monster. Anyone know?

"While the 19-inch front tire is two inches taller than the stockers, the most dramatic change is to the backside, where Ducati's 180/55 17 dimensions have been blown up taller and wider to 240/40 19. To accommodate the wider back rubber, the factory swingarm has been traded out for a thick RSD tubular trellis single-sided swinger"

If you go larger than a 190 you are going to need to change the front end attitude to compensate...otherwise your bike will want to go straight in turns.
Are you looking for a show bike or performance? From a handling perspective it sounds like a step backwards unless you are planning on changing up the front end chasis attitude as I said earlier.
Just an FYI :-)

from my limited knowledge. two valve monsters and two valve ST's can use the same swing arm. multi's are a different width where they bolt to the engine cases. not sure about hypers, but they look the same as a multi
