Just picked up my new Hyper!!

I have been lurking in this site since the Hypermotard was announced. I have been riding for over 22 years but this is my first Ducati. I currently have three other bikes as listed in my sig.

I just picked up my new Hyper and what a helluva fun bike to ride!!!

I feel like I'm sitting on top of the front wheel. Weird at first but you get used to it right away.

The sound it makes is intoxicating. The rumble of the L-Twin and the clatter of the dry clutch is so unique compared to anything else I have ever owned.

The torque is incredible and it wheelies so easily! This bike will definitely turn you into a hooligan!

I got the comfort/low seat and it feels like a sofa compared to the seat on my KLX. I would say it is almost as comfortable as the stock seat on my R1150R. It also seems to lower the seat so I'm almost flatfooted on both feet, which is good because I'm short.

I'm definitely happy with my choice and first thing on the list of things to do are a carbon hugger and a slip-on so I can hear a little more of the music.

I really like this site as you guys are all so knowledgeable and totally passionate about your Hypers.

Wait until you install a set or termis.

Change your front sprocket to 14T and you'll be very happy with it.

Btw, for rear hugger, I just got my Shift-Tech rear hugger. Awesome product, fast delivery (free for forum member), very good price (forum member discount) and pretty straight up guy name Guido. check out their web-site.

Thanks guys!!!

Yeah the shift tech stuff looks tasty. I think Guido will be hearing from me very soon.

Dropping a tooth down was the last thing on my mind with the immense torque. Wouldn't it be hard to keep the front end down? Or is that the whole point.

I've never dropped a tooth on my street bikes; only on my dirt bikes. Definitely something to think about.

Congrats on the new ride. Your going to love it more and more by the mile. I like the look of that seat too. I have mine ordered, just waiting for the call.

How long has it been on order? My dealer had two(one now, lol) in stock. It definitely looks better than the stock seat which looks like it came off a cheap Dual Purpose Bike. I don't know how much more comfortable it is than the stock as I got the comfort seat with the bike. It's fairly comfortable and you can kinda tell that gel will break in to the shape of your a$$ and will get better as the miles rack up.

They had the race seat in stock. I ordered the Comfort seat a week and a half ago. This Saturday will be two weeks. I was told about two weeks to get. I hope to have it for this weekend. The weather is going to be great and I have a few long trips planned.
