It had to happen...
Saturday was a confluence of disasters, a bicyclist, SUV, Narrow curving hill. Result, lowside, right.
Need the mirror, turnsignal, red right panel, clutch handle, and the dreaded shifter.
I also am not a big fan of the turnsignals and mirrors, so any (less expensive" alternatives would be appreciated.
Any help or guidence appreciated!

the stock handguards are very expensive... $1300 Im selling mine for $900.. but if you want something sturdy... lacking signals and mirrors go for the DP handguards 1/4 of the price and made by Acerbis....
All the Best....

Here is a link of what you can do for front turn signals, I like what BillyD chose to do.
turn signals
I chose to go with the CRG Lane Splitter mirrors and they are great, you can actually see behind you at speed.

Hyper Accident
Thanks to all who have replied, some great ideas! I have used the
CRG mirrors on a monster before, loved them. It looks like there is enough handlbar left after removing the guards to mount the CRG bar mounts.
The oberon turn signals look nice also, so I am left trying to find a (correction) left side tank fairing in red and a shifter.
The search continues...

I did the same thing...but on the right side. Engaged a slide into a corner and wasn't aware of the speed I was carrying...result was that I ran out of "track" went of the road, hit some gravel and dumped the bike. POS plastic handguards broke off, right side foot peg broke off and have some minor rash on the front fender, side fairing and exhaust shrouds.
I went ahead and put on the Zeta bar, and handguards w/ the integrated turn signals. Cost me less that $300 from wheelingcyclesupply.com for the full setup. I highly recommend them for great customer service and being able to ship everything including throwing in the extended bar mounts, which you will need.
The plastic damage wasn't so bad and I was able to touch it up with some red paint...may replace later after checking the prices on them.

Here's the link to the correct page on Wheeling's website:
http://www.wheelingcyclesupply.com/s...gory&cat_id=76
You have to get the Armor Handguard (first item on the page), and then the XC Protector with Flasher (last item on the page). I have this set-up on my DR-Z (without the flashers), and it's the bee's knees
And Forrest is THE MAN!!!
