Oregon ride anyone??

Big Sur was a bit too far for me to join up with the CA boys & girls.

Went for a nice ride yesterday to the OR coast - loads of bikes going to the rally in Florence, but I didn't see another HM (or any other Ducati).

In fact I've never seen another HM besides mine, this is a tragedy!

Anyone care to help me assemble an Oregon ride west of the Cascades?

We finished a great ride yesterday from the Dalles to Maupin and around Mt. Hood. Awesome views and very little traffic. Were you thinking of sticking with the coast for the ride?

Let me know when you want to go. Bunch of buddies here in Redding are planning a coast trip. We could possibly meet up and ride for a few days. Your right about being the only one with an HM, no one around here has one either.

The coast was just an excuse to ride on 34 from Philomath to Waldport (awesome!). The coast views were nice but the traffic sucked. Looped back on 126/36 from Florence - 126 was closed due to a nasty car wreck so ALL traffic was diverted to 36. 36 is usually nice but with solid traffic it was kinda scary.

I'd be up for just about any ride west of Bend. Anything with great turns, low traffic, and good views applies. Much more than 200 miles and I might have to make it an over-nighter - still TBD. I have a neck injury slowing me down which is why I bought the HM: I'd been waiting 3 years for a bike that is upright AND fun to ride. Even my 03 ST4s was leaned over too far. Thanks to the HM, I'm out terrorizing the roads again

I would love to go for a ride, I ride central Oregon every weekend, and ride a HM. I live in the Tri-cities in Washington. The mountains are just starting to clear up from all the snow. It would be good to ride with another bike with the same range as me!

Maybe we need to hire a support vehicle for gassing up!

Definitely gotta go in the mountains between Newberg and Hillsboro during the week. About 0 traffic, well maintained roads, and lots of beautiful curves. Just watch out for the squirrels in the middle of the #!$%ing road.

My friend and I are coming to the southern coast area of Oregon for Dunefest, 7/28 - 8/3. Anyone interested in setting up a ride during those dates?
