TechnoResearchTool-Need help w/TPS

I just installed a full termi ECU on my Hypermotard and am having trouble reseting the TPS with the Techno tool. The program is comunicating with the bike fine. Under the tool section I selected TPS. On the TPS screen the left side is all that is accessible. When I click the TPS I get a countdown and then a prompt to turn the key off, wait 13 seconds, and turn key on. The screen says "passed". The right side of the screen says "calibrate" and I am not able to click on those functions. The throttle bar graph has a off position of 3.3% and a full throttle value of 85%. Should they be 0 and 100%? What am I missing? I need help and it's saturday.

First of all let me say I haven't done this on the 2V Ducati's but on the MV Agusta and Ducati 848 what you're seeing is normal. The Magnetti Marelli 5AM allows TPS setting but not the other function you're seeing (that's why it's grayed out). TPS typically will not show 0% to 100%. It will vary by application - usually 1.5% to 4% at idle to 85%-87% WOT. Not to worry.

this came up on the ST board, and we're thinking those numbers are degrees, not percent. 3.3 degrees and 85 degrees are the same numbers i get on my bikes after the TPS reset. your bike running good?

Thanks for the replys. I guess the I reset the TPS ok. Its running ok but not great. I still have to put in the performance air filter, which I hope is whats holding it back. It seems a little less responsive, probably rich. I've got the termi slipon with Zard front pipes.

You should check the throttle body synch and adjust if needed using the air bypass screws.

If the bike is idling at 1300 RPM after the TPS reset, you should be good to go.

You probably need to bump up the Fuel Trim as well. With the full Termi 2-1, I'm at +14 (although yesterday in our usually hot weather, it felt like the bike was a bit rich at below 1/4 throttle opening. Time for an old fashion plug check).

Finally, if after all that, you have ANY throttle snatchiness off- to on-throttle, you may need to adjust the butterfly stops slightly (i.e. less than 1/8th turn in. I just did the horizontal cylinder throttle body which is accessible from the right side of the bike without removing the air box). Seems most don't need this last step, but mine did. Of course, if you adjust the butterflys, you'll need to repeat the TPS reset.
