Way to lean!

IŽll took my HM to my local Ducati dealer for a run in the Dyno. IŽll wanted to know if the bike have a decent fuelcurve and the effect with the Db killers installed. The result was rather interesting when my bike is overly lean and a staggering 7,7 hp stronger with the Db killer installed. I have Bursi frontpipes, Leovince silencers, Dp airboxlid, airbox mod with a 41mm hole in te bottom of the airbox, camkit with Race ECU. The result was 92,57 hp and 97,57 Nm on top. IŽll have a nasty dip in torqe between 4700 to 5500 rpm. Ill think I have to get a Powercommander to solve this when the bike runs lean even with the killer in place. Se the graph here: http://www.olssonsgarage.se/Hypermotard.htm

Jonas, COOL video! where did you get the Bursi head/mid pipes that fit on the LV

slipons? do they have a larger OD pipe diameter than the stock pipes? also

the DP ECU that you were running, is it the ECU that came with the cams or

is it the ECU that comes with the DP Termi race pipe, Thanks Alex

Cool! Nice numbers, it looks like it is hitting hard up top. I know that some of the guys in Cali with the LV cans were also seeing a little better numbers with the dB killers installed. Interesting!

Out!

I wish your graph included Air:Fuel Ratio. Definitely could use a Power Commander and some tuning - the torque curve looks peaky. Nice bike and web page - couldn't read a thing but I like the photos (kinda like a Playboy magazine).

Well I bought the Bursi pipe on http://stores.ebay.com/BURSI-EVOLUTION.
The front pipes are 5 mm larger than original, but the connection with the rearpart have the same size as on the originalbike. The cat is gone and you can use it with a closed loop ECU with lambda sensor as well. I have the lambda hole plugged when I have the camkit Race ECU installed.. Koop! Swedish can be a bit tricky!

I went to Ebay on your link, and did not find the Bursi / LV midpipe for the Hypermotard, I even went on their offical website and did not find it.

Could you contact them for a part# and find out how much they
will be in U.S. currency? Thanks Alex

Contact them and refer to my site. They called it Bursi evolution decatilazzitore marmitta. The price for this was in the same range as for LV decat pipe ca 3000 sek or 485$. You are a lot better in English/American than I am so I donŽt think they will have any problem to understand what you want.

Could you give me the companies phone number and the part number
for your Bursi mid pipes? Thank you Alex
