Question about CRG or Pazzo levers...

Do both of these require that you use a short lever with the stock handguards? Will their standard size levers fit?

Can't speak for CRG, but Pazzo's must be short to fit with the stock handguards. I found out the hard way.

I just installed the Short CRGs after some minor modification to the brake lever with a dremel tool.

I removed my hang guards long ago, so it was a non-issue. During my quest for the right beta before I started grinding away at a freshly bought pair of levers, a few techs mentioned that you had to modify the guards, (and modify the brake lever)

Aside for the BS of install, the CRGs are great. I love them. A lot. No seriously. I'd screw them if I could.

If you run a shorty clutch lever, you should also consider changing the slave cylinder to lessen lever pull. I ran my shorty Pazzo with the stock slave cylinder for a long time and it was fine, but I threw in an Evolution slave cylinder on another parts order just for grins, and the resulting decrease in lever pull was welcome. Worth it IMHO even though I hate bleeding hydrallic systems of all types.

Okay, so the CRGs need to modified. In what way?

Also, do the Pazzos fit without mods?

Sound off if ya got a pair (levers, that is).

No mods to the Pazzo's... but to the OEM lever.

See below,
