Pazzo Pain
Just finished putting on my Pazzo shorty levers. The brake lever went on like a charm, but the clutch lever was a PITA. Anyone else have to beat the crap out of the OEM lever pivot end to bend it enough to get the actuator pin/barrel to slip out of the bar recess? That sucker just would not come out. Once I did that, the rest was a simple swap out and bolt back on.
So much for putting the OEM clutch lever back on if I ever sell the bike.
At any rate, the levers are cool as hell: looks, function, performance.
And the titanium color matches the OEM hardware perfectly.

The pin should come out of the barrel with either a special tool that Pazzo (sometimes) supply, or failing that a small flat head screwdriver to lever it out! If you look at the pin, you'll see a little groove around it's circumference just above where it is inserted into the barrel. Lever it out using that groove. The barrel then just slips out of the lever.

tiny allen
I had a problem with both my PS1000LE and MH900E when I put pazzos on it. It has nothing to do with pazzo just the stock levers have a lil pin that is held into the barrel with a small allen screw which is a MOFO to get out and it strips easily and ducati tacks it in place with some kind of epoxy... thats my experience.

Ah, yes, my bad. you're talking about the clutch lever. That little allen screw (1.5mm, IIRC) can be a sod to get out. use a good quality key (Facom for me!) and go easy, you really don't want to round that one off!

Not Pazzo's Pain
In as much as your complaint has nothing to do with Pazzo per se, but rather a difficulty with the OEM lever, your choice for a thread title is unfortunate. You would have encountered the same issue regardless of which aftermarket lever you selected.

i had kinda the same problem when re-installing a new clutch lever (the stock one unfortunately when happened the pazzo was not at the market yet) when my bike felt down. My dealer had a hell time in putting the edge of the lever into the system...

I chose my title for the attention it would get, knowing full well it was an OEM lever issue. "Pazzo Pain" is simply a catchier "catch all summation" of the experience I had. But thanks for the entertaining commentary nevertheless...
Oh, and I don't see how it's "unfortunate" given the rave reviews I gave the levers.
