Speedy Moto Clutch Cover

I opted for the 10 Spoke clear version. Changed the springs covers to red. Retained the stock pressure plate but painted it black with high temp enamel spray (same stuff for refurbishing your BBQ grill)

Whatcha think?

Looks cool! I went with the Speedymoto Flow clutch cover. I'm thinking of painting the pressure plate red. Cant afford a anodized one yet. Is taking the plate off a big deal?

Loosen the springs in cross patern. Then remove all springs. Jiggle the pressure plate loose and pull out about 6 inches will do. The rod will stick to the bearings located at the centre of the pressure plate.

Use a cloth to grip the rod (DO NOT use pliers) and pull them seperate. Remember to lightly grease the rod upon reinstallation

I removed the bearing from the pressure plate before painting, thats the hardest part I guess as it invloves some light hammering with a combo of appropriate sized wrech socket, cloth underneath to protect plates etc.

Washed the pressure plate with petrol than with soap and water and dried it.

The only reason I painted it is I know over time, the stock pressure plate will discolour and looks nasty like some old junk metal (uneven faded look) once exposed to the elements
