Here is one we just finished, before run was stock HM 1100 with Termi 2 into 1, DP ECU and DP airbox lid. After is adding 100mm 11.25:1 Pistal's, DP cams, pod filters and a Rapidbike. Think porting with 2mm over intakes would be worth another 3 or 4. We got about the same with drop-in 1080 Pistal's, 2mm over intakes and porting, pods ect..

"Worth"...that's a tricky, subjective concept because beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
I believe few would not agree that the full-boat results (i.e. exhaust, heads, cams, pistons, custom map, etc.) are pretty spectular; however, you might get some argument on the relative "worth" of such modifications.
Before one can even broach this subject, there needs to be a clearly defined mission statement for the bike.
So, Karna, how do you intend to use it? Are you commuting on it or racing it? Depending upon how you answer that question, the "worth" answer could follow any number of different vectors.

I like it, the Hyper really kicks ass up to the rev limiter. Before it was over at 5500-6000 rpm.

More HP and torque is nice but to be honest, I think I have all I need right now. I have the cams to put in later but I've put a lot of effort in getting the intake/exhaust and fueling right to get the most out of the stock engine. Now its smooth, with very broad power and excellent response. Not sure if I'm going to like the cams but I'll probably put them in later with a set of 1123 Pistal pistons cause I can't leave well enough alone.

I have a 1000SS for the track. Just had the DP cams installed. Engine mods now include:
- open airbox
- special/wider diameter exhaust headers and open exhaustst (with db killers installed)
- heads ported
- dp cams
- PCIII with seperate maps for each of the cylinders (quite some difference)
Results rear wheel: 107 HP and 114 Nm (84 ft-lb) Gain after cam installation was 11 HP and 6 Nm. Very small performance loss under 4000 rpm.
Quite please with it, just had 3 trackdays at the Assen MotoGP/WSBK racetrack ;-), and yes, it is worth it at the race track. I wouldn't do it for normal road use so I'm gonna keep my MTS 1000S standard.

So, Karna, what's the mission statement for your bike? Track or Road? DutchDuc900's comments pretty much says it all.
Or, perhaps, you don't have a mission statement at all and are just a perennial teeker like DukePilot
