Tired of Tip-Toeing!! I need a rear shock ride-height adjuster.
Anyone have a deal on the rear shock ride height adjuster?
I have the non-s model so I cant lower the bike at all and need that!! I KNOW someone will post i should just leave it be and ride it high, but I use it as a daily commuter and its tough at every f'in light to lean to one side and tip-toe. i already changed the seat out.

I have the same problem, but it's not really a problem. I can deal with it. I would "think" this would change the rake of your front forks if the rear is lower and change the handling a little. I'm no expert, I'm just kinda asking this myself. Just a thought. I may be interested in the very same thing for my bike "if" it doesn't make a big difference in the way it handles.
BTW, How much lower is the other seat you have and is there enough padding on it for long full day rides?

I have a spare one, brand new in the Ducati box that I'd be happy to sell you. $100 plus $10 for FedEx 3 day shipping. You can send me an e-mail if you are interested. richard.rohrich^@^gmail.com (remove the ^ jobbies )
Lowering the rear and the pulling up the forks the same amount worked great for me. I've ridden my lowered S version back to back with a stock height S and I much prefer the lowered version.

Yota, how many MM down in the front did you go? I figured the forks will be almost right against the bars at that point (not that it bothers me).
Also regarding Werloc's question about the seat. I bought the "DP Comfort seat, I would say its a little more comfortable than the stocker but BARELY lower, if at all. The longest i have ridden straight was last Sunday for about 3 hours or so and i was fine. I did notice because the material is slightly different than the stock seat, you can't slide across it super easy for serious leaning, but it wasnt a huge deal, just discovered the new seat was a little more "sticky" than the stocker.

Cool. I got your e-mail and I'll send you the specifics when I get back into work. I should be able to drop it off at FedEx tonight.
If it will stop raining here I'll shoot a picture of the fork position.

I'm 5'6" (168cm) and yeah I tip toe to the max. I have an S and was told it's already at it's lowest for rear stock.
My alternative is to shave the seat by a few mm. It's easily done but I have yet to really bitch about tip toe-ing for now. We'll see how it pans out. Only been a month for me
