slight annoyances

the mirrors come so loose that they end up pointing at the ground after a half mile of riding.

the rear brake lever almost goes to the pavement

and the susupension set-up is very soft from the dealer. Id nose dives ALOT in braking

ugly tank venting charcoal canister is useless and will be removed.

*all of these are easy fixes so no worries and Im very happy with it.

*my buddy has fixed all these problems on his hyper.

BREAK IN TIME ? WHATS THAT ? ...ive got 50 miles on her!

Whine, whine, whine... ;-)

What about those instructions that come with the Termi 2-1? Now there's a major annoyance!

These are normal "problems" with ALL motorcycles. Adjusting the controls and suspension to suit your needs is always the first thing to do with any new bike. As for the loose mirror? Uh... tighten it.

If you want your rear brakes to work, you need to bleed them properly. This may require pulling the caliper and raising it above the master cylinder to get the air bubbles out. Mine bit like they should now, it makes me feel safer when wheeling. This requires removing the cat, and the brake line protection under the swingarm which is a pain in the ass.

Canister is no big deal to remove. You need to have a couple of 1/8" vaccumm caps to cap the nipples on the throttle body.

Suspension has to be dialed in starting with sag first then compression and rebound. I have a pretty detailed post on it if you search for it.

Wait until you are replacing your exhaust and you discover that one of you header bolts is bent and the nut rounded off from some ham fisted drunk Italian on the assembly line. That will really chap your ass!

Out!

why do you need the rear brake? the bike has so much compression braking it will pull itself back.

I don't know, your the one complanining

For me it's simple...........3rd gear wheelies at 85 mph.............it's nice to have a rear brake to get you back to terra firma if you get a little throttle happy.

Rear brakes have other useful features like sitting on inclines with your hands off the bars and regaradless of what some say, they do aid in stopping the bike.

If you don't care about rear brakes don't pull the rear caliper as it is a long process.

Out!

trust me man, Im far from complaining. I also posted up the thread that this bike should get an award for being the most fun bike to ride.

everythings great with the bike now, i havent done the suspension yet. The rear brake deal is fixed easier/faster by rotating the lever arm on the spline.
