Chirping sound when doing acceleration?
My bike is bone stock, has anyone else noticed chirp when you accelerate harder, sounds like its way too lean.
On 2nd gear 35-40kph, accelerate hard and i can hear the chirping sound from engine for second or two.
Anyone else with stock exhaust who could verify does their bike do the same?

more than likely intake noise. that's what my ST3s does. others have reported the same chirping......no worries. been doing it for about 10,000 miles

Friend of mine has an ST3 that chirped as well. Turned out in his case it was the dry clutch. Plates down to the bone

I got only 6500 km's on it but i ride it pretty hard occasionally, clutch cover gasket is reusable, right? so i can just pop out the cover and take a peek how much clutch wear i got..

The gasket is just a rubber sound dampener and water seal so no problem reusing it. I did have some rust on my stock springs so I don't really think it is that great of a seal.
