HyperTires for Pacific North West
Moved 1yr-ago from the South East and I can't get used to the sliding on throttle on my commute. I have the Bridgestones and they feel like butter in the morning. I don't necessarily need knee-down tires for the weekend but I need fast warm-up units that can also cope with Seattle rain and road crap.
Please help with tire recommendations..
Thanks!

I've heard good things about Dunlop's D616, especially as a rain tire.
I used to run D220's on my ZRX1100, and they were awesome. I believe these have been replaced by the new Road Smart, and I would think they'll be at least as good...

North West tires
I have been running Conti Sport Attacks on all of my bikes, not great milage, around 5k, but sticky and easy turn-in. Price is great and switched to them from running pilot powers. They work for me.......lots of choices out there. come over the hill and lets ride some time

just spooned on a pair of pirelli syncs this am ... break in ride was a 150 mile loop up in the santa cruz mountains on back roads with some sand/gravel and the normal third world nation road conditions we have here in california ...
these tires are bitchen!
got the sides all scrubbed in on the rear, and almost to the edge on the front. very neutral handling, very nice turn-in. eleventy billion points, as these tires are getting 5-6k miles on the multistroodle, which blows the crap out of the 2.4k i milked out of the stock b'stones.

I have 3.4k on my syncs (dealer swap) rear center about 1/2 worn, front 1/3. No twisty roads available until now. A bit of nasty old Route 66, Golden Shores to Kingman. One gully has seven cars at the bottom, 3 west bound, 4 east. I chose sharp rock puncture resistance over corner grip. I don't know how they work for wet, but I do know how they work in sand/dirt roads (no flats yet). Thanks for the insight for grip, I hoped I didn't lose too much sticky.
