lowest OTD prices?
Wanted to know what other people were able to haggle down to for OTD without trade-in, as a trade-in would lower the tax.
Thanks for any help.

Not sure on OTD right now but I don't think dealers are taking much off MSRP + Ducati raised the price $500 on all models in the US. They can most likely wiggle some on set up and freight. I would say if you can get a new standard out the door for around $13K that would be pretty good. A conservative figure of 6% tax is going to run $700+ so if you can get them down to only a few hundred for setup, doc fees etc. thats not bad.
I paid $13600 last August but it was the first month for the standard models in the USA. (I believe I got the first one from my dealership) Anyway there was not much haggling going on then because it was so new. Should have better luck now. I would try some of the bigger dealerships that have a surplus of inventory they usually are more apt to negotiate some. Not sure where you are located or if you are willing to travel. I know places like AMS in Dallas have a bunch. Someone who recently purchased should pop up soon enough and tell you what they paid. Goodluck........

Anthony Creek at Desmoworks (on this forum) was recently offering new Hyper S models, at full MSRP but throwing in a free $2100 Termi 2 in 1 system (plumbing, ecu and airbox lid). That ain't bad if that's the way you're headed. The most off I ever got quoted on this system was $420-20%. But if you want to trade, you may be better off working with a dealer in your area. I was not aware of the recent price increase, but in December I got my S for $13,500 plus tax. Good luck; either way you'll be pleased with the product.
