Ohlins Steering Damper - Pics - Ducati.ms

Dan Kyle will have an Ohlins steering damper kit available soon, probably in a couple of weeks. Cost will be right around $500, which is quite a bit less than the DP damper. The Ohlins has quite a bit more adjustment and no dead spots in the damper travel action.

Dan is using my bike to test fit the damper kit. The damper shown is a 68mm damper, which is longer than required. The final kit will contain a 63mm damper and include all the hardware necessary for mounting. Here are a couple of pictures of how it will look.

Just a few more details... the bottom mount off the ignition switch studs will be in black with the damper clamp and top mount in natural silver. These parts will be CNC machined and the kit will include longer studs and nuts for the bottom mount/ignition switch.
