i am making an assumption that you are referring to a dp ecu upgrade ...
1. replace the questionable dp ecu with your stock ecu, and ride the bike. if the lack of power issue is resolved, this is a pretty good indication that the dp ecu is faulty.
2. get the bike on a dyno with the dp ecu and do a run. then install the stock ecu and do a run. compare the two run graphs ... this will provide you with documented proof to get the dp ecu replaced under warranty if it is faulty.
if after doing either/both of the above, the bike's issues are not identified/resolved, ask your dealer if they reset the TPS when they installed the ecu and exhaust.
best of luck with your dealer ... i know i would change dealers if they laughed at me when i asked a question on warranty of a bike i purchased from them.
