Clutch/ECU/Termig/CAM price check???
I just purchased a used race ready 08 HypMtard S.
Parts included:
-Slipper clutch
-Camshaft Kit
-Termignoni Race full exh. with ECU
What would be feasible for me to do to get some cash back out of the bike?
Sell this whole kit or sell the OEM kit that was replaced?
What would be easier with more $$ to my pocket to sell?
Thanks in advance!!
Ralph

The bad news:
Stock parts aren't worth anything.
Used parts arent worth much either.
Removing the cams would cost money.
An engine with cams needs the open exhaust.
The good news:
The slipper if low miles is worth something.
You have a nice hypermotard.

I would keep everything and it the way it is. When you sell the bike, put everything back to stock and sell the performance bits on eBay. The cams complicate the issues if installing them isn't something you can do yourself.

As many in here said, you should keep it like that, now, if you still decide to part it out, let me know about the exhaust with ecu.....

Eventually, if kept long enough, these bikes will be worth more on the collector market in factory original fare then with either aftermarket or DP replacement parts. This has been proven time again. Accordingly, I would stash all OEM bits in dry storage in the event the bike stays with you long enought to reach the 'appreciating' zone in it's life. As has been said, OEM take offs now are next to worthless and used upscale is rarely worth more then 40-50% of new replacement. Better to keep 'em and have fun with your new toy.
