Rapidbike 02 Simulator Now Available
For those of you running the stock ECU, the Rapidbike 02 simulator is now available. It replaces the stock 02 sensor and will work with or without the Rapidbike module. What this means is that you can now override the closed loop operation of the fuel injection and add or subtract fuel over a limited range. So, if you're running the stock exhaust and airbox, you can gain better performance and smoother running with one of these. It costs about $250, and you can get one by contacting Al at www.moto4us.com

I am seriously considering getting this as a first step. My only question is how would I be able to make a change to fuel trim, it looks like it is only a lambda emulator?

Sounds interesting, would like to hear more details about it. At this point however, I'll probably just install my DP ecu along with a PCIII and a custom map. The flapper servo will be joining the charcoal canister in the junk parts box at that time. With the Rapidbike stuff I'd have to keep it hooked up

The RB 02 eliminator allows you to adjust fueling over a limited range. Whether that range will be sufficient with the mods on your bike, I don't know. Contact Al at www.moto4us.com to get the details.

If you're adding an exhaust and open airbox, going with the DP ECU and a PCIII or RB3 Unit is the way to go. The advantage of the PCIII is that there are lots of tuners out there who know how to make a good map with the PCIII.
