U gotta try a track Day!!
On April 4th I did my first track day at the Streets of Willow, in CA, with my Hyper, along with (hyprduc) Todd, his Hyper and (Husky) Steve, and his Supermoto Husky, man what a FUN time!
We all ran in the "B" class (intermediates) "C" is for the beginners and "A" for the experts, there were about 30 riders in each class, and to my surprise we all did really well, with only about 3 or 4 riders that were faster than us. Hypers Rule!!
What I learned on the Track Day was how poorly my bike was set-up, even when you think your bike is handling good at the Canyons, when you hit the track, its a whole new ballgame, with the SPEEDS you can hit at the track you will quickly learn about your bikes shortcomings, my major problem was the lack of ground clearance, as I was scraping everything everywhere, both footpegs, the brake lever, the exhaust pipe, and probley ruining my new boots! thank goodness there was a suspension set-up expert at the track, his name is Dave Moss, for $40.00 he helped sort out my bike, its the BEST $40.00 I've spent on my bike to date. Now my Hyper is handling the way its supposed to be, and all because of the Track Day! So if you have a chance for a Track Day, DO IT!! now you know Alex

I've been struggling with suspension settings myself, and have a track day coming up. Not sure if I'm going to use the Hyper, unless I get the suspension sorted out.
What type of settings are you running?

When is the next track day as you sound excited. I have never been to a track before, what's about the cost(not laying down your bike) for the day?

That would depend on your weight, one of the main things is to set your rear
suspension sag to 35mm, mine was way off at 65mm, and when you push down on the center of the bike, with NO rider, make sure BOTH the front & rear of the bike go down about the same amount. If you have a "S" adjust the linkage for a higher ride height, and drop the forks down in the triple clamps to raise the front of the bike for more height, ground clearance and balance.
In my case I'll have to get heavier springs front & back for my weight. Alex
