999 reservoirs on a Hyper?

I searched and found a couple threads where it was said that 999 clutch and front brake reservoirs will work on the Hyper. Do any of you know if they clear the factory hand guard assemblies? Are there any pictures of such a conversion?

In one of the threads Desmoworks mentioned that the 999 reservoirs were prone to leaking. Was this a problem with a fix?

58540041A
