Battery Clamp mod pics?

Just installed the DP racing seat. The seat came without the foam pad for the battery ... just wondering if that is a cost saving by Ducati on a $200+ seat or is the foam pad no longer a needed arrangement for the battery? I still transferred it from the original seat since the battery can move a bit without it. (Note my DP seat was mail order but the one I saw at the dealership was also without the foam block.)

I read on a few post regarding a battery clamp mod ... what does that look like? My dealer is not aware of it, has some had it done by a dealer? If they could post a pic that would be great.

the pad for the battery does not come on the dp seat ... they figure you already either did the battery clamp upgrade, or your bike came with the battery clamp ... plus, that foam has gotta weigh at least .005 grams, so enjoy the weight savings

My DP comfort gel seat has the foam on it like the stocker. You got screwed by like $0.17 +/-.
