Good Source for Termi 2-2 Headers/mid pipe?

Does anyone know a good source for the the Termi headers that work with the slipon? My nearest dealer wants full retail price and he charges a hour labor to install & reset the ECU. I'm considering the Zard ones but no ECU and that heat shield is UGLY.

If you have the Termi slip ons, I believe the ECU you have will be the same for a full system. That is what I am running. As for the Zard, you can get them from Anthony at Desmoworks a site sponsor for around $500. I don't care for the heat shield either and there are few alternatives to this. You can remove it and install the universal carbon fiber shield that someone posted about a few days back, you can remove it and carefully grind off the nuts and repolish the pipe or you can have it coated to both look good and reduce heat.

Out!

I agree and was waiting for someone to say it. That heat shield with "ZARD" on it looks stupid. A CF replacement would look much better

That's what I was waiting for too. The giant ZARD looks kind of tacky to me. Should be carbon.

Personally, unless your planning on carrying a passenger (I can't imagine why you would on this bike) it is unecassary. An option to make it look better would be to trim and paint the alumunim face black and leave the mesh natural. Another option would be simply to add a couple of button head allen bolts to cover the nut up and call it good. Another option would be to simply install the Leo Vince cat eliminator for $225 and run the stock header and mid-pipe with the slip ons.

I guess that shit looks good if you are from Italy.

Out!

I like the heat shield on the Termi's much better but $1299 is a rip off even by Ducati standards. My guess is dealer cost is half that. I also have a bad slipon ECU so I kinda need the new ECU that comes with headers. My not so local dealer hasn't been very responsive in trying to get me a replacement ECU. I was hoping to find retailer willing to make a couple hundred bucks instead of making seven hundred bucks for my unhelpful local dealer.
